S. M. Riazul Islam is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sejong University, South Korea since March 2017. Prior to Sejong, he worked at the Wireless Communications Research Center, Inha University, Korea as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Dr. Islam was also affiliated with the Memorial University, Canada as a Post-Doctoral fellow. Before that, he was with the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He also worked at the Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh as a Chief Engineer at the Department of Solution Lab for advanced research. His research interests include wireless communications, internet of things, and applied artificial intelligence.
