Sejong University, The Department of Computer and Information Security

We have (fully funded) Ms positions in the areas IoT, AI and Edge Computing beginning from Fall 2021 (August 2021) at Sejong University for the AIStar Project. We offer a competitive salary with an excellent working environment, all within close proximity of high-tech industry in Seoul. The qualified candidates will have opportunities for research internship and joint-projects with lead-industrial companies. 

Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) and interest in middleware systems and communication protocols used in IoT (HTTP, CoAP, MQTT, oneM2M, open-source, semantics, ontology).

Interest in scientific publication , and good communication skills in spoken and written English.

Basic knowledge or interest in oneM2M standards.

Knowledge in AI/ML, edge computing, semantics, interoperability testing, IoT platforms is an advantage.

Proficiency in a programming language such as Java, C and Python is also an advantage

Candidates with proven research experience or interest (familiar with Latex) are preferred.

Stipend Support

•  Masters: A total package of 25 000 $ (US Dollars) per year (monthly allowance and tuition fees)
