Jaewook Lee, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Sejong University in Seoul, Korea. His research interests lie in exploring the application of information technologies to architecture, which includes computer-aided architectural design and construction, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Intelligent Building Systems (IBS), collaborative design, and smart city. Dr. Lee has a BS and an MS in Architectural Engineering from Yonsei University, an M.Arch. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. After his BS, he worked as a site engineer for the construction company Daelim Industrial Co., and after his Ph.D., as a senior research engineer for the telecommunications company KT Corporation. Dr. Lee has published several academic journal and conference papers, and also serves as an editor of The BIM.
